Allie received theatrical training from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and musical training from Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she studied songwriting and vocal performance. As a child she studied classical piano, and continues to play both piano and guitar. She began vocal lessons in Dallas, TX under vocal coach Amy Seltzer and received further training from college audition coach Mary Anna Dennard and composer Steven Lutvak. She trained at NYU's Playwrights Horizons Theatre School. At Berklee she participated in jazz and country ensembles, attended workshops hosted by Kenny Werner, and sang in improvisatory vocal workshops hosted by Diane Richardson.
Allie has performed at SXSW, KXT Austin, NYU, Berklee, Columbia University, and venues across the country, both as a solo act and in collaboration with bands.
In 2017 she was granted a three month residency for music composition at the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation in Taos, NM, and, in 2018 she participated in a residency for music composition at the neofeminist Centre Pompadour in Ercourt, France.
Lately Allie's been working on a debut EP. She recorded the majority of the music with producer Jeremy McDonald (Kevin Garrett, Beyonce's 'Lemonade') in Brooklyn at Mason Jar Music (Feist, Alicia Keys, Lake Street Dive). She's extremely excited to share her music soon.
